Our first group of volunteers from Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church and St. James United Methodist Church raised the walls on our United Methodist Church Apostles build on Saturday, May 20. The group of about 20 church members was able to raise the walls of an entire home in just over 2½ hours! The Apostles Build is a collaboration between The Methodist Foundation for Arkansas and seven Central Arkansas United Methodist Churches that raised funds and committed volunteers to help build the home. The homeowners for this home will be Rosie and Charles, a brother and sister, who are both
retired veterans.
