Five HFHCA staff members are heading to Atlanta for the biennial Habitat National Conference held March 4-7. Executive Director Kelly Fleming will try to corral this group: Andrea Newton, contractor; Craig Keltner, ReStore manager; Destiny Smith, ReStore assistant manager; and Morgan Benton, executive assistant and volunteer coordinator.
There are plenary sessions with Habitat International leaders for inspiration, dozens of learning sessions, a sizeable exhibitor fair (two years ago we found our new loan servicer there), and plenty of time to socialize with peers from across the country.
All Arkansas representatives will gather one evening, and – ok, we admit it – one night the group will attend an Atlanta Hawks game (on Kelly’s nickel, not yours)! You know what they say about all work and no play! We will share some of our takeaways in our March newsletter.
