As our fiscal year end draws near, we simultaneously look back and forward. For starters, we must thank YOU. It is your friendship and support that has made the year a strong one and gives us great hope for the year ahead.
Our ReStore will surpass $1.25 million in sales this year. It is your donations and your shopping, coupled with a lean but mighty team, that will make that possible. All profits from the ReStore help us build more homes, so every sofa, every sink, every ceiling fan donated or purchased makes a difference. THANK YOU.
Speaking of homes built, we built three homes this year in a trying construction environment. We were pleased to be building in Little Rock again, first on Thayer, then W. 11th Street. We also serve Lonoke County, and our third home is in Keo.
In this video, you will meet Mary and James who are about to close on this Dallas Cowboy-blue (they are huge fans!) country cottage. Not only will their monthly house payment be less than the rent they have been paying, their new home is also closer to Mary’s employment. And here’s the best part: their new home is built on the site where Mary’s grandfather once lived and her father was born. The very piece of property! Now she will play with HER grandbabies (5th generation) in this spot. You MUST listen to her talk about it.
